Keep up with what we are up to!
Mission: Brown County Pawpulation Control is a community-based Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program focused on humanely reducing the outdoor cat population in Brown County, Texas. By sterilizing, vaccinating, and returning community cats, we prevent overpopulation, reduce shelter intake, and protect lives.
TNR stands for Trap–Neuter–Return. It’s the only humane and effective method to manage community cat populations.
Trap: We safely and humanely trap unowned, free-roaming cats.
Neuter: Cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ear-tipped.
Return: After recovery, they’re returned to their original outdoor homes.
We serve all of Brown County, Texas including Bangs, Brownwood, Early, and rural surrounding areas.
