About Us
Welcome to The Xena Project NTX
Established in March 2024, The Xena Project NTX was born from a heartfelt commitment to making a difference in the lives of animals abandoned in rental homes and apartment communities. Our founder, Katie Berry, brings over a decade of experience in property management, where they witnessed firsthand the plight of abandoned animals left behind after evictions.
Driven by compassion and a desire to fill a critical gap in support, Katie and a dedicated team of professionals came together to launch The Xena Project NTX. Recognizing that many property management professionals face the challenge of abandoned animals with limited resources or support, we set out to create a rescue organization specifically tailored to address this issue.
Our Mission
At The Xena Project NTX, our mission is clear: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals abandoned in apartments and rental homes due to evictions or difficult circumstances. We provide these animals with essential medical care, safe shelter, and the love they deserve until they find their forever homes.
Why We Do It
In today's challenging economic climate, more individuals and families are facing hardship and eviction, often making the heartbreaking decision to leave their pets behind. Through our rescue efforts, we aim to offer hope and support during these difficult times, ensuring that no animal is left behind.
